This project is an attempt to create a peer-to-peer network of privately owned books.
The product would be an index of the books shared by members and made available for order and reading.

The idea is to create a digital commons for sharing literature members find valuable for free.
This concept is primarily inspired by all the books I've received from friends who've extended their private libraries to share books they don't need anymore.
Either through local meetups or the magic of USPS media mail, members can request books based on a currency/barter system.
At its best, this is an attempt to create a slightly more complex digital iteration of the free neighborhood library boxes.
