Interaction Design
Over my four months at IDEO I enganged in multiple projects in varying capacity. The main projects I was focused on were Humanistic AI and autonomous trucking, interactive adventures at a museum, in-patient experiences at a children’s hospital and organizational design of a healthcare non-profit.

The work shown here is a small subset of all my work at IDEO.
Project Giggle

The project was to design an in-patient experience at a children's hopital with a heavy focus on enabling joy and facilitating ease for patients, family and staff.

I assited in developing in-person research and creating conversational tools to use during it — then participated in and synthesized the research. Also, conceptualized parts of patient rooms and interactions for specific linear experiences.

The team consisted of Project Lead, Industrial Designer, Graphic Designer, Design Researcher and Interaction Designer (me).
Future Shop

This was a solo project to design an internal website for a global team at IDEO. The goal was to explore the digital identity of the Future Shop so anyone both interanlly and externally could understand it's capabilities and learn about the projects/people involved.

I designed the full website from start to finish following a standard process with moodboarding, critique sessions, iteration, etc.

Project Dawn

This was an organizational design research project that hoped to define problems and provide concepts to solve them at a reproductive healthcare non-profit.

In collaboration with the team I helped design a workshop for a range of employees at the organization. This included making posters, presentations and other interactive research materiels to gather insights.

After the workshop, we synthesized the insights to create principles for the next phases of research and implementation. I also iterated on some digital solutions that could be used as interventions for issues within the organization.

The team consisted of Business Designer, Writer and Interaction Designer (me).
Project Flywheel

A brand strategy, business design and digital design project to assist a startup attempting to create humanistic AI and autonomous trucking.

My contribution was to illustrate/outline a storyboard for a marketing video and to design a landing page that matched the new brand.

The team consisted of Strategist, Graphic Designer and Interaction Designer (me).
Project Cabana

The goal of this project was to create a specifiction for an interactive wall at an Art Museum.

For this project too, I made simple storyboards of concepts selected by the client. I then defined the nuances of the chosen interactive wall that used capacitive touch and proximity sensors.

The team consisted of 3 Interaction Designers including me.
